It is now possible for excellent researchers to apply for admission in an already established CAG
To give the opportunity to continuously strengthen new disciplines and to best enhance excellent translational research efforts in the CAGs and its direct value and impact on patients care, it is now possible for excellent researchers to apply for admission in an already established CAG.
As CAGs evolve over time it can be relevant to invite and include new members in a CAG. GCHSP wants more researchers from all partners and relevant individuals from the innovation ecosystem, interest organizations, and private companies to be involved and to have the opportunity to apply for admission into CAGs. The goal is to strengthen the composition of CAG members and foster successful translational research collaborations.
To apply for admission in an already established CAG, you need to do the following:
Applicants who wish to become members of an already established CAG should contact the CAG Chairs of the respective CAG in which they wish to apply for admission. The applicant is also required to cc the GCHSP Secretariat in the application email.
It is solely the decision of the CAG Chair, CAG Vice-Chair and CAG Junior Chairs, possibly in consultation with other members of the keymember group, to assess whether the request for admission can be approved.
Once an application is approved, the CAG Chair, CAG Vice-Chair and CAG Junior Chairs must inform the GCHSP Secretariat and send the following information to the Secretariat:
- Name and contact details of the new member
- Date of admission
- The position of the new member in the CAG
- A photo and title of the new member
CAG Organization
A CAG leadership consists of a CAG Chair, a CAG Vice-Chair, and two CAG Junior Chairs. Additionally, a CAG should have a relevant number of key members, representing all four partner organizations. Other members of the CAG are clinical, basic, and technical scientists at all career levels.
It is important to emphasize that the CAG Chair group decide whether an applicant can be included in the CAG. If there is a need to include new disciplines, and if the CAG want assistance in identifying the right collaborators the GCHSP Secretariat can assist you.
If you have any queries, you are welcome to contact the GCHSP secretariat at gchsp.rigshospitalet@regionh.dk.
