Become a Clinical Academic Group in the Greater Copenhagen Health Science Partners (GCHSP) – Open Call

Are you passionate about cooperating with strong profiles within your area of research, and do you want to head a research collaboration that spans hospitals and universities? Now is your chance to establish a Clinical Academic Group (CAG) with support from the Capital Region of Denmark, Region Zealand, the University of Copenhagen and the Technical University of Denmark.

You can read more about the GCHSP and how you apply for a CAG on gchsp.dk. You can also sign up for an information meeting that may inspire you to establish a strong CAG collaboration with other basic and clinical researchers. We will tell you about the criteria for applying, and we have invited an experienced CAG to come and tell us how they cooperate across units and about their path to a CAG position. Why Apply for a CAG?

A CAG must promote excellence in research with a view to ensuring better treatment for patients. By establishing a CAG, you and your colleagues help bring together clinical practice, research, education and further education across universities and hospitals. This way, you may improve the quality of research and contribute to faster implementation of the latest new research results into practice of benefit to the patients.

Who Can Apply for a CAG?

The GCHSP collaboration consists of four large health actors: the Capital Region of Denmark, Region Zealand, the University of Copenhagen and the Technical University of Denmark. The presidency of the individual CAG must therefore consist of one representative whose main employment is with one of the two universities and one representative whose main employment is with one of the two regions. All four partner organisations must be represented in the CAG – either in its presidency or among its key members.

About the GCHSP

Since 12 June 2017 the GCHSP has facilitated excellence in research with faster implementation of research results in clinical practice. Among other things, we do this by strengthening the cooperation across regions and universities via a series of Clinical Academic Groups (CAGs).
